This is a news about the special rain in Konkan area. Each year rain drops heavily here and there are floods in the rivers. There are many small rivers as well as few big rivers in Konkan. The people of konkan are of very fighting nature and each year they try to overcome the challenges put up by the heavy rain .

             Generally,  the mansoon comes in Kerala state of India.  Gradually,  it progresses towards  the Konkan region of Maharashtra state . It generally enters in the Konkan on 7th of June . In the recent past,  the mansoon is not regular.
